Overview
The Wolverine Worldwide regional conferences are held in different cities each year. They bring together the leaders of all the brands held under Wolverine Worldwide; the latest shoes are presented, presentations on brands progress and reports are outlined, and breakout sessions and meetings are held between those who do not normally come face to face with one-another.
The Brief
Taking to the seas and skies we delivered an all encompassing conference production service to Amsterdam. The 7 day shoe conference hosted by Wolverine Worldwide consisted of a catwalk come conference space, multiple breakout rooms, product displays and around the clock technical support.
It worked like clock-work, we landed on the Tuesday evening, and our vans arrived the following morning. We were ready for installation.

What We Delivered
The main conference space was a grand domed Church, The ‘Kopelkerk’. Within the space we built a catwalk stage and lit it from every angle possible. The main consideration, in this instance, was to ensure that the shoes were on show and lit well.
A brand designed catwalk lighting programme was developed in line with every brand in the shoe family. Exhibition lighting to enhance product displays was provided in this space, along with conference production style lighting.
To complete the conference set up, a huge projection screen sat centre stage. This became the focal point for brand presentations, and keynote speeches. Branded model set pieces were placed around the room to dress the space. In addition a core uplighter lined tunnel led delegates through to the space from the hotel next door.
Dedicated sound, lighting, and multimedia operators were also on site throughout. They assisted during all of the brands rehearsals and show runs. They also ensured that the event ran smoothly and that all shows were seamless.
In addition to the catwalk shows and main conference sessions, we also worked on the production within the hotel conference centre next door. We provided screens of various sizes, product lighting, and on hand technicians. This allowed for fast changes and any assistance that was required.
Some may say ‘Shoe-stoppingly’ good.
