As well as providing a range of temporary, creative production solutions, for a wide range of discernible clients, a huge part of our work is dedicated to developing technical installation production within the local community and further afield in the UK. This type of work is very much engrained in our DNA and a type of service that we really enjoy.

The LUX Technical headquarters can be located in Peterborough; a stone’s throw from the historical and rather beautiful area of Stamford. It is a place that is incredibly important to all team members of LUX Technical, mainly because we were all raised in the area, but more importantly because it is a heritage location that we are all proud to support.

Due to our relationships with other local companies, community centres and schools, it was always our ambition to be able to offer technical equipment and permanent solutions for in-house lighting, audio and visual requirements.  We feel it our duty to offer the very best of equipment available and to install these developments into schools and other community based organisations, which is very important within our sustainability as a company. To be able to offer technical excellence in exchange for creating opportunities for young people through the use of advanced equipment is incredibly rewarding.

Our installation services are varied and can be tailored to suit a range of requests. We are masters of bringing spaces to life, through the deployment of smart lighting options, the most current and exciting audio equipment and through providing visuals enhancements whether it’s a stage or a drape system. Our portfolio of installations is varied, including the design and installation of an intelligent lighting rig at a local school, enabling student interaction by fitting a purpose built track system that allows for the rig to move up and down and to allow for greater control, in an entirely safe working environment.  It is truly remarkable and incredibly satisfying to consider that we were once pupils in these establishments and are now fortunate enough to return and support our old friends.

As well as our much varied and popular hire services, LUX Technical excel at providing a 360 degree technical approach and have the equipment, experience and passion to stand out and make a difference. Our technicians work in some of the country’s most challenging environments and are always excited to take on a challenge and to truly understand and enhance each spaces potential through the application of technical installation production.
