Trust Women is committed to find real solutions to empower women and to fight slavery worldwide. The annual event brings together global corporations, lawyers, government representatives and pioneers in the field of women’s rights and anti-slavery.

The 2015 annual conference brought together 550 global leaders from 50 countries. These included Brazil, Australia, China, India, Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland. The two-day event reached 65 million people worldwide. This was through extensive media coverage and highly interactive social media engagement.

The Brief

Taking to the seas and skies we delivered an all encompassing conference production service to Amsterdam. The 7 day LUX Technical were engaged by the Thomson Reuters Foundation to support and further enhance the presentation and technical production of their two-day annual conference. The event was held at the famous Landmark Hotel in London.

The main objective was to create a set that not only physically fitted the confines of the venue, whilst allowing for maximum capacity, but a design that echoed the spirit of the conference; strong, bold, clear and professional. The importance of design not only settled on the set, but of course the presentation of content, quality of sound and in this instance included live streaming of the conference to a worldwide audience via YouTube.

What We Delivered

The space was to be laid out in an unconventional format to allow for more delegate seating, this new design created some challenges for the team when designing the set. We settled on a design that included four large seamless projection screens, with a matching seamless printed backdrop, that sat behind a streamlined carpeted stage.

High quality laser projectors were used to ensure the picture quality of the live camera feeds, keynote presentations and prerecorded video we’re all to the highest standard.
Alongside this there was the bespoke Twitter and Instagram wall we had designed and integrated into the backdrop that ran along the length on the room.

We prepared and presented all of the screen content for the conference, ensuring all files, videos presentations ran effortlessly across all platforms.

Our client asked that the conference be streamed live on YouTube for the worldwide audience they we’re expecting. Not only did we make this possible, we also streamed the conference into four other rooms throughout the hotel; we included additional seamless projection screens and our LCD screens for these press and preparation rooms.

Sound, for a conference of this stature, was of course extremely important. We provided crystal clear, natural sound throughout the venue; ensuring we also provided compact solutions in the breakout rooms, so that no one was left unable to hear.

It’s worth mentioning we had a dedicated sound no. 2 who was on had to securely and comfortably fit our colour coordinated headset microphones to all the presenters; making for one less thing to worry about.
